Willie Willie

This orchid-type dahlia has unique curled petals and wonderful coloring. Reminds me of a beautiful pinwheel or a windmill. Flowers are good for cutting. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies, and birds. Introduced 1998. So good they named it twice! Reminds us of Wee Willie Winkie, the nursery rhyme.
