Black Satin

Favorite dahlia for cutting and displaying. Tight cluster of petals for a week, appears fresh and vibrant as it opens. Long sturdy stems. These petite flowers are the closest to true black of any dahlia we’ve seen! One of the darkest of all varieties, flowers bloom on fairly compact plants that still have plenty of length for cutting. Blooms are a rich, deep wine coloring that pairs soooo well with other colors. Black Satin produces numerous tubers, and it is a good cutting flower. (I started singing "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues when I typed this dahlia info.)
