Cincinnati Dahlia Society Board:
Beth Lantz- President, Lisa Striker- Vice President, Treasurer- Mark Neel, Secretary- Lisa Williamson, Board Members- Beth Koss, Nan Matheson, Mabel Limone
Lookback at last year: Financial Review (Beth Lantz)- We had a lot of one-time expenses last year that we will not need to spend again ($5150.) Recurring expenses from last year were $2168.) Then expenses per event were discussed. Balance now- $8664 Beth Lantz will upload spread sheets to website.
By-Laws Discussion: Mission- The Cincinnati Dahlia Society will promote and educate the cultivation of dahlias to members and the public. In addition, the society will support scientific research and exhibit dahlias for competition and public viewing.
Articles- Articles were discussed section by section and changes were made. Beth Lantz and Lisa Williamson will edit and make changes and send to executive board.
Event Report- Lisa will come up with an event report and will share with those who ran each event last year. The event chair will be required to fill out this report for last year and going forward for all new events.
Merch- how/when will we sell merch to our members?
Tuber sale- We will do two tuber sales this year. Washington Park will be held April 19th and the Indian Hill Plant Sale on Saturday April 25th from 10-2. Online tuber sale 4/26.
Meeting Dates- 2/15, 3/15, 4/19,4/25- Indian Hill Sale, 5/17 Tuber Trade, 6/14 Field Trip, 7/19, 8/16, 9/19-9/20, 10/18, 11/1-Banquet
Tuber Challenge Flower 2027- Clearview Edie (Mark will look into ordering tubers)
Tuber Challenge Flower 2028- Wildwood Marie (Mark will look into ordering tubers)
