Cincinnati Dahlia Society Board Meeting-3/7/2026 10:00

Members in attendance: Beth Lantz, Lisa Striker, Nan Matteson, Lisa Williamson, Alex Graver, Mabel Limone, Mark Neel, Beth Koss

 

NEXT MEETING: March 15th 2:30 Church

· Mabel will create a new icebreaker for next meeting.

· Nan will talk a few minutes about the seedling table.

· Mark will talk about how to become a judge.

· Alex will talk about the tuber sale. We will pay parking for workers at the downtown sale. We will hand out bags.

· Indian Hill sale 10-2 and set up can be Friday night or Saturday morning. Saturday April 25

· Committee sign-ups- Beth L

· Beth L will contact hospitality committee to see if they want to bring cookies.

· Lisa will discuss field trip to gauge interest. June 13th 2026?

· Challenge flower cuttings will be handed out at tuber sale in April. Email will go out by Beth L. $10 each

· Guest speaker- Janelle will sell virus free cuttings at next weeks meeting. (Pollinator patch)

· Janelle will talk about basic planting for newbee growers.

· Joe Boggs from Ohio State will come to talk about soil health in July.

· Designing with Dahlias at Beth Koss house. August 20. Possible light dinner.

· Lisa Striker- Member survey results. Lisa Williamson will look over survey and filter results.

· Clothing options are now in Zazzle on our website. Products are available with a link. They are outside of our website organization. Items are available for order. We get a small royalty for our organization. We made this as small as possible.
